All my music

Here is my first solo album ever. I started recording the demos one year ago, around march 2024, some in Lille and some in Haarlem (NL). The first iteration of most of the songs were ready in a couple of weeks, and I started playing them live right away. I then refined them, learning from the live, until their form that I decided to keep on this album ; it is however not their final forms, and they'll never have one, I think. I keep finding new riffs during rehearsals and improvising during live shows. I tried to stay true to the original intention of the demos, and wanted to approach these songs as snapshots of a moment in my life. Some guitars on the record came from the demos, some were recorded 1 week before its release. I recorded, mixed and masterised it myself. I took the photo of the artwork with my shitty phone deep in a night of 2024, while going home - I took a different path than the usual one.

This one is really exciting to me, and I can't wait to record this properly and relaase it. At the time of writing this (november 2025), we have done two live shows. This is a very live project, very organic, very engaging to play and one of my most heavy projects. It's the first time I'm using a BOSS RC-202, and I'm amazed at everything it can do. It has opened a lot of possibilities for me, as I'm not stuck doing only vocals and can play around with textures and loops on the go. There's also Thom doing guitar (check out his other band, Ana Iesu) and Hugues on the drums.

It is my new duo with Gaël Douek. On this, I scream and sing. We picked the lyrics randomly from The Naked Lunch, by William S. Burroughs, and made a cadavre exquis out of it. Apparently, this is how he used to write as well, so this is kind of a tribute to the lunatics.

I do the bass on this. This project is born out of a residency in La Raymonde, Clermont-Ferrand, which involved a number of different musicians, and a different band everyday.
We did only one afternoon session with Bourdieu95, and this is the recording of it.

This is a brand new duo that's been born during the residency in Clermont-Ferrand (that also gave birth to Bourdieu95). This is the recording of the first session, and we are really happy with it. We're gonna do a residency in may to record the first EP, very exciting. For this one I'm on multiple synths, loops, effects pedals, and voice as usual

I'm very glad to have been invited to this compilation. All sales went to the Collective "Palestine Vaincra". I did a cover of the song Be Free, A way by The Flaming Lips under the name Death By Fog. Very cool compilation with lots of good artists.

With Otto Ruth, we do mostly improvised stuff, based on one simple pattern that we extend.

Death By Fog is now one of my solo project, but before that, it was a duo with my friend Myriam on the bass and vox.
I produced everything and did a short run of homemade tapes for this EP, as a split with our friend Bluerailroads, his EP on the side A, and ours on the side B. Or the other way around.
We did a mini-tour with him and among this very small amount of shows, we did one in front of 1 person. Good memories.
